After veteran IT companies like Infosys and TCS, now L&T Infotech is also coming to Indore. 42 acres of land has been sought in the Super Corridor. This land is not even half that of TCS and Infosys. TCS has 130 acres and Infosys has 100 acres in Indore.
The veteran IT companies present in Indore have done a business of Rs 1164 crore more in 2022-23 as compared to 2021-22 abroad. If this new company comes, then 5 thousand new jobs will be available. Recently, a new campus of Yash Technology has started on the Super Corridor, which has given jobs to 2,500 people as soon as the campus started.
Apart from L&T Infotech, some other multinational IT companies are also looking for a better place in Indore. With the coming of these companies to Indore, about 15 thousand youths will get direct and indirect employment. Indore's IT export business is likely to double from last year.
Presently 86 IT companies are working in Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Indore. Who did business of Rs 1761.19 crore in foreign countries last year i.e. 2021-22. This year i.e. in 2022-23, these 86 companies have done business of more than 3 thousand crore rupees. That is, the business has done more than Rs. 1164 crores as compared to last year. The number of registered IT companies in Indore is 370. Of these, 280 companies are working after taking land from the government.
15 thousand new employment opportunities will be available
Around 370 IT companies are currently working in the city. Right now 50 thousand people are getting employment through this. This figure will be about 65 thousand in the years 2023 and 2024. New incoming companies and existing companies in Indore will recruit around 10,000 Software Engineers in Indore by the end of year 2023 and 2024.
While about 2 thousand marketing, and more than 3 thousand youth will get job opportunities in finance, accounts, management, back office, security and HR.
TCS then Infosys number one in foreign trade
Talking about overseas business, this year TCS is at number one, Infosys at number two and Impetus at number three. In the last financial year, the TCS company received orders worth Rs 867.35 crore from abroad. This year, i.e. in 2022-23, a business of Rs 1509.80 crore has been received, which is Rs 742 crore more than last year.
On the other hand, Infosys has done a business of Rs 444.80 crore this year. Whereas this year the IT companies of Crystal IT Park have jointly done overseas business of more than Rs 640.23 crore. On the other hand, Impetus Infotech Company has earned more than Rs 171 crore this year.
Indore is becoming the choice of IT companies
Cost of operation
The cost of operation in Indore is less as compared to metro cities. Rent of office buildings and houses is much less than Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune.
Air connectivity
There are more than 44 flights daily and direct flights to a dozen cities. Direct flights to Dubai and Sharjah are to be started.
Hygiene
The talk of becoming the country's cleanest city 6 times is up to Silicon Valley. Outbound industries prefer professional quality off line.
Circular settlement
One has to travel for one to one and a half hours daily to reach the office in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. In Indore this distance is less because the settlement is circular.
Food and drink
A large youth section of North India does not want to go to Bangalore and Hyderabad because the food there is not pleasing. Food from 15 countries is available in Indore along with food from every state. The street food has been certified by FSSAI for cleanliness.

- The first city in central India to have its own startup park. This park will be built in about 21 acres where 20 thousand people will get employment.
